Mobiya’s mobile advertising conversion to paid transactions
Mobiya reports the results of its first mobile advertising campaign in collaboration with Interactive World. After being operational for six months in the UK, Mobiya acquired 10,000 opted-in mobile phone numbers over its mobile classified platform.
Last week Mobiya launched its first direct marketing campaign sold at a CPM price of £180. Mobiya was able to generate a delivery rate of 77% and converted 3.5% to a paid transaction. This gave a 166% return on investment to the advertiser. An investment of £1,800 is driving £3,000 of new revenue!
According to a number of studies the mobile advertising market is expected to generate revenues ranging somewhere between $1 billion and $24 billion within four years. Advertisers are attracted to the sheer scale of the potential audience — 3 billion people worldwide use mobile phones.
